40 degrees and loving it!

Yesterday was a beautiful day. The trees all had icicles in the morning on the shady side of the streets that were dripping and looking like crystals. The sun was shining and it felt like Spring. I have never considered myself a person that needs Winter to end, I like winter, but this day of Spring had a healing effect on me. For the first time since I wrecked our last car on the ice, I remembered that I like to drive and as I ran errands I sang and had a good happy day. It was such a pleasure to be in a warm car on a beautiful day. I stayed out much longer than I had planned and enjoyed every minute. Today it was in the 50s, God is good to the home bound (I am not home bound, but nesting is quite the way with me at present).
